To activate IBO Player, open iboplayer.com/device/activate on your phone or computer, log in with the MAC address and device key shown in the app, select Add Playlist, paste your M3U link into Playlist URL and press SAVE. Then restart IBO Player on your TV.

It takes about three minutes. Do it on your phone or computer, not with the TV remote.

Before you start

Step 1: Note the MAC address and device key

Open IBO Player on your device. The first screen shows a MAC address and a device key. Take a photo of both.

IBO Player licence

IBO Player is a paid app licensed per device (by its MAC address). With our 12-month plan, one licence is included free for a year; with 24-month or Lifetime, one licence is included free for life. Request it on the Applications page — attach a screenshot of the MAC address screen — and our team activates it within 24 hours.

Troubleshooting

"Invalid MAC address or device key"

Check every character (zero vs letter O, one vs letter l), include the colons in the MAC address, and make sure both codes come from the app's first screen.

The captcha keeps failing

The captcha is case-sensitive. Reload the page to get a new one if the letters are hard to read.

Saved, but no channels on the TV

Force-close the app (on Fire TV / Android TV: Settings › Applications › IBO Player › Force stop; on other TVs, switch the TV off and on) and open it again.

"Playlist failed to load"

The link was not pasted in full or has a typo — copy it again. If it is correct, check on your account page that your subscription is active. Renewing keeps the same M3U link, so the playlist in IBO Player never needs to change.

FAQ

What is the IBO Player device key?

A second code, next to the MAC address, that proves you own the device. You need both to log in on the activation page.

Add Playlist or Add XC Playlist?

Add Playlist for an M3U link. Add XC Playlist is for host + username + password logins.

Is the IBO Player on the Google Play Store the official one?

No — those are look-alikes from other developers. On Android TV and Firestick, use Downloader code 511693 to get the real app.

Can I use IBO Player on several devices?

Yes, but each device has its own MAC address and needs its own licence and playlist link. One subscription is one stream at a time.
