The best IPTV player depends on your device: Hot Player for Smart TVs, Firestick and Roku (light and the quickest to set up), IBO Player if you want the same app everywhere including Mac, and the free MYTVOnline+ on phones and tablets. All three play exactly the same channels — the player only changes the menus and the setup.
These are the three players we recommend and the ones our support team can help you with. Your subscription works in any player, but with these you always have someone to ask.

The three players compared
Hot Player — best for TVs
Lightweight, fast to start, and linked with just a MAC address at hotplayer.app/upload. It is listed as Hot IPTV (by STE DIGI VIBES) in the Samsung, LG and VIDAA stores. It is the only option on Roku and VIDAA, and a great choice on older Firesticks. → How to activate Hot Player
IBO Player — best for using one app everywhere
The best-known IPTV player. It runs on almost every platform — TV, Firestick, Apple TV, Windows and Mac — so your menus look the same on every screen. It is linked with a MAC address and a device key at iboplayer.com/device/activate. → How to activate IBO Player
MYTVOnline+ — best (and free) for phones and tablets
Free on Android and iPhone/iPad, by ATLAS LINK. You paste your M3U link straight into the app — no MAC address, no website, no licence. → IPTV on Android phones · IPTV on iPhone & iPad

What actually matters in an IPTV player
Picture quality is not one of them: the stream and your internet speed decide that, and every player here plays HD, FHD and 4K. What makes a difference:
- It is in your device's official store (or has a trusted install code). On Samsung, LG, VIDAA, Roku and Apple, that means the TV's own store. On Android TV and Firestick, Downloader with the official codes.
- The setup is simple. A player you link from your phone in two minutes beats one that makes you type a 100-character link with the remote.
- Someone can help you. If something goes wrong, support that knows the app saves you an evening.
Watch out for fake players
Store searches are full of look-alikes. Before installing, check the developer:
- Hot IPTV / Hot Player: STE DIGI VIBES (STE DIGI VIBES SARL on LG, DIGI VIBES SARL on Roku)
- MYTVOnline+: ATLAS LINK
- IBO Player on Android: the apps called "IBO Player" in the Google Play Store are not the official one — use Downloader code 511693.
Are IPTV players free?
MYTVOnline+ is free. Hot Player and IBO Player are paid apps, licensed per device. With our 12-month plan one licence is included free for a year, and with the 24-month and Lifetime plans one licence is included free for life — request it on the Applications page, and our team activates it within 24 hours.
FAQ
Can I use VLC as an IPTV player?
On a computer, VLC can open an M3U link and play channels, but it has no TV guide, no movie and series library and no favourites. A dedicated player is much more comfortable for everyday watching.
Does the player affect buffering?
Rarely. Buffering almost always comes from the home connection or a second stream on the same line — see IPTV buffering fixes. On very old or low-storage sticks, the lighter Hot Player can help.
Can I switch players later?
Yes. Your subscription is not tied to a player. Link your M3U link to the new app and you are done.
Do I need a different subscription for each player?
No — one subscription works in any player, but it is one stream at a time.
Not sure which device you have? The installation guide asks two questions and recommends the right player.
