POK TV/Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how POKTV (“POKTV”, “POK TV”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit poktv.com or subscribe to our IPTV service. We handle your data in line with applicable data-protection law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Questions about this policy or about your data can be sent to support@poktv.com.

1. Data we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details — your name, email address and the password hash created when you register or claim a free test.
  • Order details — the plan you chose, the amount paid, the payment method and the billing information required by our payment provider.
  • Activation details — the device or MAC address you submit when you ask us to activate an IPTV player application on your behalf.
  • Correspondence — the content of messages you send us by email, the contact form or WhatsApp.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data — IP address, approximate country, browser, operating system, referring page and the pages you view. We use this to operate the site, produce aggregate visitor statistics and detect fraud and abuse.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for the full list.

We never receive or store your full card number. Card data is entered on, and held by, our payment providers.

2. Why we use your data

  • To create your account and provision, renew and support your subscription;
  • To take payment and issue receipts and invoices;
  • To send transactional email — activation credentials, renewal reminders, password resets;
  • To answer your support requests;
  • To detect and prevent fraud, chargeback abuse and credential sharing;
  • To measure how the site is used so we can improve it;
  • To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Performance of a contract — to deliver and support the subscription you bought;
  • Legitimate interests — to secure the service, prevent abuse and improve the site;
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies and for marketing email, which you can withdraw at any time;
  • Legal obligation — to retain transaction records for the period tax law requires.

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with the processors we need to run the service:

  • Payment providers, which process your transaction and handle card data;
  • Our streaming platform provider, which provisions the line attached to your subscription;
  • Email delivery providers, which send transactional and service email;
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers, which run the site and the API;
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account and subscription records — for as long as your account is open, and afterwards for as long as we need them to handle disputes;
  • Invoices and payment records — for the retention period required by applicable tax law;
  • Support correspondence — up to 24 months after the conversation ends;
  • Visitor analytics — in aggregated or pseudonymised form.

You can ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time; we will keep only what the law requires us to keep.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your data;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent you previously gave;
  • complain to your national data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email support@poktv.com from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed and never in plain text, and administrative access is restricted and logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

9. Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced by email or on the site.
