Short answer: pick Hot Player if you want the quickest, lightest setup — it is also the only option on Roku and Hisense VIDAA. Pick IBO Player if you want one app that runs on almost every device, including Mac. Both play exactly the same channels, movies and series from your subscription.

An IPTV player is just the app that shows your subscription on screen. Your subscription (the "line") is the same whichever player you choose, so this is about comfort and which devices you own — not about content.

Hot Player

Hot Player is a lightweight player that starts fast and is the simplest to link: you only need the MAC address the app shows. On Samsung, LG and VIDAA TVs it is published as Hot IPTV by STE DIGI VIBES; on Roku it is Hot Player by DIGI VIBES SARL.

Choose Hot Player if:

  • you have a Roku or a Hisense / Toshiba / Vestel VIDAA TV (it is the only option there)
  • you have an older Firestick or a slower TV and want the lightest app
  • you want the shortest setup

IBO Player

IBO Player is the best-known IPTV player and runs on almost every platform, so you get the same app and the same menus on your TV, phone and computer. It uses a MAC address and a device key.

Choose IBO Player if:

  • you watch on a Mac (Hot Player has no Mac version)
  • you want the same app on several devices
  • you already know IBO Player from before

Ready to watch?

Try every channel free for 24 hours. No payment, no commitment.

What about free players?

On phones and tablets (Android, iPhone, iPad) we recommend MYTVOnline+: it is free and you paste your M3U link straight into the app — no MAC address, no website. See IPTV on Android phones and IPTV on iPhone & iPad.

How much do they cost?

Hot Player and IBO Player are both paid apps, licensed per device (the licence is tied to the app's MAC address). With our 12-month plan one player licence is included free for a year, and with the 24-month and Lifetime plans one licence is included free for life. Request it on the Applications page and our team activates it within 24 hours.

Our recommendation by device

  • Samsung, LG, Firestick, Android TV, Apple TV, Windows: Hot Player for the quickest setup; IBO Player if you want one app everywhere.
  • Roku, Hisense VIDAA: Hot Player (the only option).
  • Mac: IBO Player (the only option).
  • Phone or tablet: MYTVOnline+ (free).
  • MAG box: no player needed — the portal goes into the box settings.

FAQ

Can I switch from Hot Player to IBO Player later?

Yes. Your subscription works with any player. Just link your M3U link to the new app's MAC address.

Do I need a different subscription for each player?

No. One subscription works in any player — but it is one stream at a time, whichever app you use.

Is the MAC address the same as my TV's MAC address?

No. Use the MAC address shown inside the player app. Your TV's network MAC address will not work — that mix-up is the most common activation problem.

Which player has the better picture?

Neither — picture quality comes from the stream and your internet speed, not the player. Both play HD, FHD and 4K.
