When IPTV stops working, the cause is almost always one of six things: the subscription has expired, a typo in the link or login, the playlist is linked to the wrong MAC address, the app needs a restart, someone else is using the line, or your internet provider is blocking the traffic. Check them in this order — most problems are solved in under five minutes.

If channels play but keep freezing, that is a different problem: see IPTV buffering fixes.

1. Is your subscription still active?

Sign in to your account and open Subscriptions. Each line shows its expiry date and a countdown. An expired line stops playing everywhere at once.

If it has expired, select Extend. Extending keeps the same username, password and M3U link, so nothing changes in your app — restart it once the extension is applied. Renewals are never charged automatically, so a line expires if it is not extended.

Your M3U link, username, password and host are case-sensitive. A single wrong letter gives "login failed", "playlist error" or an empty list.

  • Copy them again from your account page (Subscriptions) or your delivery email instead of retyping.
  • Make sure the whole M3U link was pasted — it is long, and the end is easy to cut off.
  • In IBO Player, use Add Playlist for an M3U link, not Add XC Playlist. In MYTVOnline+, use Add m3u Playlist, not Add Portal.

3. Is the playlist linked to the right MAC address?

Hot Player and IBO Player link your playlist to the MAC address shown inside the app — not your TV's network MAC address, and not your router's. Using the wrong one is the most common activation problem.

Open the app, compare the MAC address on screen with the one you entered on the activation website, and save again if they differ. → Where to find the MAC address

If you changed or reset your TV, or reinstalled the app on a new device, the MAC address is new — link the playlist again.

4. Fully restart the app and the device

Players load the playlist when they start. After any change — new playlist, renewal, licence activation — close the app completely and open it again.

  • Fire TV / Android TV: Settings › Applications › your player › Force stop, then reopen.
  • Other TVs: switch the TV off at the wall for 30 seconds.
  • Restart your router too if nothing loads at all.

5. Is someone else using the line?

A subscription includes one connection — one stream at a time. If the line is playing on another TV, a phone or a family member's device, the second stream fails or freezes. Close the app everywhere except where you are watching. Watching on two screens at the same time needs a second subscription.

6. Is your internet provider blocking IPTV?

Some providers slow down or block IPTV traffic. Signs: it works on mobile data but not on your home Wi-Fi, or it stops every evening. A VPN usually solves it — it is not required otherwise, and a premium VPN is included with the Lifetime VIP plan.

Just paid and nothing arrived?

  • If your order shows Confirming Payment or Setting up, it is in progress — no action needed. Card payments usually complete within a minute or two; crypto needs a few network confirmations.
  • Check your spam folder for the delivery email.
  • Your credentials are always on your account page under Subscriptions, even if the email went missing.

Licence not active?

Hot Player and IBO Player need a licence per device. If the app asks you to activate or shows an expiry, request your licence on the Applications page — it is included free with the 12-month, 24-month and Lifetime plans. Activations are done by our team within 24 hours, and then you restart the app.

Still not working?

Contact our support team with your order reference, your device, the player app, and a photo of the error on screen. That is everything we need to find the problem quickly.

FAQ

Why does IPTV say "login failed"?

Usually a typo (credentials are case-sensitive) or an expired subscription. Copy the details again from your account page and check the expiry date.

Why does my IPTV app show no channels?

The playlist is not linked to the app's MAC address yet, or the app has not been restarted since. Check the MAC address and force-close the app.

Why did IPTV stop working suddenly?

Most often the subscription expired, or someone else started watching on the same line. Check the countdown on your account page first.

Do I need to set everything up again after renewing?

No. Renewing keeps the same line and the same M3U link — just restart the app.
