POKTV respects intellectual property rights and responds to properly submitted copyright notices. This page explains our position and how to send us one.
1. Our position
POKTV does not host, store, upload, encode, produce or control any audio or video content. We do not operate the servers on which streams originate. We resell access to a third-party streaming platform, and we have no ability to add, edit or remove individual channels or titles on that platform.
Because of this, poktv.com is generally not the correct recipient for a takedown notice concerning a specific stream. We will, however, act on every notice we receive: we forward it to the upstream provider and, where the notice identifies a specific line or account being used to infringe, we suspend it.
2. Sending a notice
Send copyright notices to support@poktv.com with “DMCA Notice” in the subject line. To let us act on it, your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list where several works are covered by one notice.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail — the exact channel or title name, and the URL if there is one — for us to locate it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on their behalf.
3. What happens next
- We acknowledge every complete notice within 72 hours;
- We forward it to the upstream platform provider;
- Where a specific subscriber line is implicated, we suspend it pending review;
- We keep a record of notices received and of the action taken.
4. Counter-notice
If your account was suspended because of a notice you believe was mistaken, email us with an explanation, your contact details, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification. We will review it and restore access where appropriate.
5. Repeat infringers
Accounts that are the subject of repeated substantiated notices are terminated permanently, without refund.
6. Your responsibility as a user
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with the law where you live, including any local licensing requirements for the content you watch.
